The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Senior Estimator to lead the Auckland Region Contracting Estimating team, guiding strategy and resources to secure profitable new projects. You will drive continuous improvement in estimating processes, foster collaboration with bid leadership teams, and ensure the long-term success and profitability of projects for Fulton Hogan.
In addition to above, you’ll:
Lead our Auckland Region Contracting Estimating team with vision and expertise, shaping the future of civil engineering in New Zealand
Collaborate closely with bid leadership teams to secure new work, ensuring profitability and long-term success aligned with our company vision, policy, and strategy
Drive innovation and excellence in the estimating function, enhancing integration with project delivery teams and setting new standards for success
Develop your skills and expertise in a dynamic and supportive environment, with opportunities for career advancement and personal development
Contribute to projects that make a real difference in our communities, building a brighter future for all
What you will bring to the table:
Experience and Expertise: 10+ years of experience in senior civil estimating roles a focus on projects exceeding $30M
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in CCS Candy software and a sound commercial understanding of New Zealand contracts
Leadership Skills: Exceptional negotiation, communication, and leadership abilities, with a proven track record of inspiring and guiding teams to success
Innovative Thinking: Strong strategic mindset, with the ability to thrive under pressure and uncertainty, and drive continual improvement in all aspects of the estimating function
Passion and Drive: A passion for excellence and a drive to make a significant impact within our organisation and our industry
