TOC Project Manager

LEAD Alliance is seeking an experienced design & construction Total Outturn Cost (TOC) Project Manager to work on New Zealand’s largest urban development to transform Auckland's future. Similar to industry roles such as Bid Manager or Pre-construction Project Manager.
LEAD is a design and construction alliance created to lay the groundwork for the new homes and spaces communities need and leave a legacy of better urban development.
The TOC Project Manager will be part of the wider commercial team. You will be responsible for the development of both design only TOCs (DTOC), and full design and construct TOCs from initiation to approval for delivery.
What you will be doing
Supporting management in development of the DTOC's and TOC's.
Including Pricing Pack development alongside design, construction, and estimating teams.
Assist the Estimators in producing TOC Schedule of Quantities, providing input to estimates to aid accuracy of rate structures based on methodologies
Prepare, coordinate and submit the DTOC & TOC Budget Submission for approval
TOC implementation: Ensure effective handover of TOC methodology to the Design and Construction teams for implementation of construction plans and budgets
The successful candidate will have
Relevant qualification in Engineering, Construction or Quantity Surveying
Practical experience in civil construction, earthworks or engineering tenders
Experience with MS Office suites, CCS CANDY estimating system or similar
Understands technical specifications, conduct in depth analyses of key components
Committed to understanding stakeholder needs and exceeding expectations
