About the role
As a Senior Accountant, you'll play a pivotal role in advancing this employers mission while honing your skills and expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of clients, providing expert financial guidance and support with an approach that fits that clients’ expectations
Prepare and analyse financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
Conduct thorough financial assessments and provide actionable recommendations for improvement
Foster strong client relationships built on trust, integrity, and cultural understanding
Review work assigned to other team members
Qualifications / Attributes:
CA / CPA qualified
Proven experience as a Senior Accountant, preferably in a public accounting or consulting environment within indigenous business sectors
Strong understanding of financial principles, regulations, and reporting standards
Demonstrates commitment to cultural sensitivity, empathy, and inclusivity
Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment while also managing individual responsibilities with autonomy
