Keen to be part of an organisation that helps build the people who build professional New Zealanders?
We are working hard to support the construction sector that is under the pump and desperate for more skilled people. You are looking for an opportunity where your skills and experience will contribute to achieving positive outcomes for learners in construction.
As the Technology Trainer, you will identify, develop, deliver, and review quality training and development to BCITO people on the best use of the organisation's applications and technology resources. You will act as a champion within the organisation on the use of and the ongoing changes and development of these applications and hardware. Our Technology Trainers work closely with all employees, nation-wide. You will:
Liaise with managers and employees as part of the needs analysis to identify trends and opportunities for technology training and improvement for BCITO people
Design training based on needs identified, ensuring all technology training meets the organisation's "best practice" use and that learners' styles are considered
Deliver/facilitate quality training, using a mix of formal and informal mediums, ensuring technical concepts are well articulated to non-technical users.
Proven training experience (including knowledge of adult learning styles, and customising material to meet the needs of different target groups)
A good understanding and use of Microsoft 365 Programs, Salesforce (CRM), and Canvas (LMS) or similar systems
A people person who builds great rapport with others
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Mentoring/coaching skills
Great at managing your own time and prioritising
Able to work both autonomously and as an active team member
