Courier Driver

Job Description V G Enterprises Limited is seeking reliable and experienced Courier Driver to join its

\n team in Auckland. The role involves safely and efficiently collecting and delivering items

\n according to assigned routes and schedules.

\n The role requires travel throughout the Auckland region, with fuel and travel costs covered

\n by the company.

Key duties include:

\n • Safely loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients and businesses within

\n the required timeframes.

\n • Checking orders before and after delivery to confirm all items are complete,

\n charges are accurate, and customers are satisfied.

\n • Assisting with the loading and unloading of items from delivery vehicles.

\n • Providing professional customer service, responding to client queries, and

\n addressing any complaints appropriately.

\n • Planning and organising daily delivery routes to ensure e:icient and timely

\n deliveries.

\n • Maintaining the delivery vehicle in a clean and serviceable condition, including

\n carrying out basic checks on tyre pressure, fluid levels, and other vehicle

\n components.

\n • Complying with all road safety and tra:ic requirements, including speed limits,

\n parking restrictions, and regulations relating to the transportation of goods.

\n • Performing other relevant duties as required to meet the requirements of the role.

\n The candidate will be required to work at least 30 hours per week and be paid between

$25 to $30 per hour.

Other important requirements:

\n • Minimum 1 year of relevant driving work experience.

\n • Available to start work as early as 8:00 am.

\n • Must hold a valid and clean driver’s licence.

\n • A Dangerous Goods (D) endorsement.

\n • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.

\n • Must be able to pass a Ministry of Justice (MOJ) criminal record check.

\n • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

\n • Self-motivated and passionate about providing reliable delivery services.

\n • Must be able to perform heavy lifting when required.

\n • Hardworking and dependable.

\n • Physically fit and capable of handling the demands of the role.
