Senior Network AWS Engineer

Job Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Network & AWS Network Engineer to design, deliver, operate and continuously improve the secure, scalable and highly available networking services that support MetService’s business-critical systems and cloud transformation.

\n In this senior role, you will design, implement and operate enterprise LAN, WAN, SD-WAN and wireless solutions across our on-premises and AWS environments. You will turn business growth, operational needs and cloud priorities into a clear network architecture roadmap, while providing evidence-based advice that informs technology and investment decisions.

\n You are a strategic, hands‑on network engineer who can move confidently between architecture, delivery and operations. You communicate complex technical issues clearly, collaborate well with stakeholders, and bring sound judgement to decisions involving security, resilience, risk and cost.

\n \n At least eight years’ networking experience, including three or more years in AWS cloud networking.

\n A bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.

\n Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, DNS, DHCP and VPN technologies.

\n Strong experience with Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Fortinet, Palo Alto or equivalent platforms.

\n Advanced AWS networking expertise, including VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Security Groups and NACLs.

\n Experience in network security architecture, Zero Trust, Infrastructure as Code, automation and DevOps practices.

\n AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty and/or CCNP certification would be an advantage.
