You will be providing direct supervision and practical training within a commercial kitchen setting. From general meal preparation and delivery to corporate catering, you will enable our people to achieve NZQA qualifications and provide a platform of good working habits for them to take forward to the future.
The role also provides support to the laundry operation, as part of the wider Internal Services Team.General hours of work though will be Monday-Sunday between 0600-1800 and will be on a rostered shift basis of 80 hours per fortnight.

London City & Guilds 706 / 1 and 706 / 2 or equivalent trade qualifications
The ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, medical assessment, and physical readiness assessment
Experience as an adult educator or NZQA Assessor (4098) is preferred, along with a current First Aid Certificate.You will need to declare any conflicts of interest and / or previous convictions in your application.
Note : The Criminal History Check is Exempt from The Clean Slate Act. In other words, the Clean Slate Act does not apply to this position.

Utu ā-tau SalaryThe salary range for this position is $67,514 - $83,191 per annum. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
