Applications are invited for the position of Lecturer in Philosophy at the University of Otago.
This is a part time (0.8 FTE) position for two years from 1 February 2019 through to 30 November 2020.
We are seeking to appoint an excellent teacher and promising researcher. Please note the area of specialty is open.
The successful applicant will be required to:
Teach between two and a half to three papers [classes/courses] per year at various levels;
Supervise research at honours and postgraduate levels; and
Be actively engaged in research.
Further teaching may be available.
