We are seeking a talented Management Accountant to join the Finance team at Publicis Group on a part-time basis, working 3-4 days per week. In this role, you will be responsible for managing month-end processing and reporting, overseeing budgets and forecasts, and ensuring compliance with financial controls.
On a day-to day you will efficiently and proactively manage tasks ahead of deadline, supporting the wider team and inquiring into bigger picture team outputs and juggling ad hoc queries.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage month-end processing, including accruals, prepayments, and journal processing.
Review current month's actuals versus forecasts and analyse variances.
Conduct P&L and balance sheet reviews.
Upload forecasts, budgets, and client profitability reporting to HFM.
Prepare timely and accurate financial reports
Coordinate internal and external compliance audits, maintaining documentation in accordance with company policies.
Maintain a register of CSR, FMC, and other group documentation.
Provide analysis and commentary on revenue, jobs, WIP, and client profitability, with support from the client finance team.
Assist with accounts payable and billing processes as needed.
Manage client profitability and utilisation reporting, as well as client retainer reconciliations.
Ensure the integrity of the P&L and balance sheet.
Assist the Finance Manager with continuous improvement projects.
We are looking for someone with a degree in Accounting or Finance, proficiency in financial software and possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
