About the role
The Admin assisstant supports multi-shift distribution center operations by providing administrative and customer service assistance. Acts as the primary contact for warehouse documentation processing, tracking deliveries, and preparing outbound shipments, ensuring operational team readiness
Responsibilities
* Verify accuracy of inbound and outbound documents.
* Assist Order Management and Operations teams with data entry and reporting.
* Coordinate incoming delivery documentation.
* Monitor and track incoming trucks and inventory.
* Communicate warehouse activities and resolve issues with other departments.
* Maintain constant communication with Customer Service and Operations.
* Ensure adherence to daily schedules and communicate deviations promptly for collaborative problem-solving.
* Collaborate with planners and supervisors to plan and execute operational tasks efficiently.
Skills and experience
* 3-5 years of administration experience.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* SAP experience preferred.
* Familiarity with MPI RMP facilities.
* Knowledge of Transitional Facilities is a plus.
* Customer service experience with a customer-focused mindset.
* Ability to work independently and in a team.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Fluent in English (written and spoken).
* Excellent organizational abilities.
