About this role

The role is responsible to lead a team of projectmanagement specialists to deliver on projects to meet the organisationsstrategic goals and initiatives.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Lead the management and reporting ofTWoA Key Kaupapa (Organisational Priorities) Pou activity.

Ensure all projects are collectivelycontributing to the achievement of the strategic objectives.

Continuous review of the organisationalproject management methodology and investigate innovations in the field forcontinuous improvement.

Supportrisk and issue mitigation strategies in alignment with the organisation riskapproach.

Ensureall projects follow best practice and consistent project management methodology(scope, schedules, budgets, communications, risks and issues) throughout thelife cycle of the project.

Ensurechange management process and tools are created that support the adoption ofchange required by projects.

Leadthe design, development, delivery and management of change communications andTWoA programme readiness activity.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications

Full NZ drivers' licence (Clean – Class 1)

Professional qualification that is currentsuch as PMP, Prince2 or Agile

Experience

Extensive experience in Project PortfolioManagement and Enterprise Project Management Office experience.

Experience and knowledge of change managementprinciples, methodologies, and tools.

Previous experience leading a high performingteam of specialists.

Willing to participate in cultural activitiesand motivated to develop an understanding of āhuatanga Māori (values, cultureand tikanga)

Engages in cultural activities and has a soundunderstanding of āhuatanga Māori (values, culture and tikanga)

Understands and uses basic te reo Māori phrases,mihi and greetings (TARM level 2 or equivalent qualification)

Embraces a Māori world view underpinned by thevalues of Te Aroha, Te Whakapono, Ngā Ture and Kotahitanga

As a kaupapa Māori organisation, your willingnessto participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of ĀhuatangaMāori (values, culture and tikanga) is desirable.
