Job Description \n About the Role\n Large-scale projects rarely run exactly to plan, creating complex legal issues that require practical, commercially focused advice. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of high-value disputes across the construction, development, infrastructure & broader commercial sectors. You'll work closely with clients, contribute to litigation strategy & play a visible role in resolving challenging matters.
Key Work\n \n Advise on construction, engineering & project disputes
\n Represent clients through mediation, adjudication & litigation processes
\n Draft pleadings, submissions & dispute-related documentation
\n Assess contractual risk & provide strategic dispute avoidance advice
\n Manage complex commercial & project-based litigation matters
\n Develop trusted relationships with clients & industry stakeholders

\n Skills & Experience\n \n NZ admitted lawyer with approximately 3-8 years PQE
\n Experience in litigation, construction law or dispute resolution
\n Strong drafting, analytical & advocacy skills
\n Ability to manage matters with increasing autonomy
\n Commercially minded approach to problem solving
\n Excellent communication & relationship management skills
