Job Description Keyway Engineering Solutions Ltd (KES)are currently looking for two Carpenters to join our team for upcoming commercial projects.
\n Keyway Engineering Solutions Ltd (KES) are currently looking for two Carpenters to join our team for upcoming commercial projects.

\n \n Key Responsibilities:
\n \n Carry out framing, formwork and general structural carpentry
\n Install doors, windows, skirting, flooring and cabinetry
\n Read and interpret construction drawings and plans
\n Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools and machinery
\n Complete repairs, alterations and finishing work to a high standard
\n Ensure all work complies with building codes, plans and safety requirements
\n Work collaboratively with other trades and site supervisors
\n Taking an active role in Health & Safety (H&S) and supporting the site supervisor to ensure that H&S procedures are followed at all time
\n \n Assisting with the training and mentoring of apprentices
\n \n Utilising trade skills, knowledge and experience to complete the works adequately the first time to eliminate any rework requirements
\n \n Maintaining a clean and tidy work area
\n \n Complying with Resource Management Act with regards to noise and use and disposal of chemicals.
\n \n Other duties not unreasonably asked of the employer
\n \n Requirements:
\n \n At least two years of experiences in Capenter
\n Strong practical skills and ability to use hand and power tools
\n Reliable, hardworking and safety conscious
\n Good communication and teamwork skills
\n Valid work visa for New Zealand
\n Hours and Pay \n \n Permanent position.
\n Minimum of 30 hours per week .
\n Pay rate of $30–$35 per hour , depending on experience and qualifications.
\n Some weekend work may be required.
