We are looking for an experienced Truck Driver to join our Transport team in Napier. You will be responsible for carting and spreading metal, chip spreading and transporting a wide range of machinery to and from various work sites while ensuring plant is in safe working condition. You will also be loading and unloading machinery, transport trailers and materials on sites.
In addition to the above you will:
Drive and operate trucks and machinery in a professional and safe manner, always aware of your surroundings and conscious of the safety and wellbeing of others
Ensuring trucks and equipment comply with all transport regulations (i.e. COF, Rego)
Maintaining trucks and equipment in a presentable condition
Time and a half after 8 hours per day

We’re looking for someone with:
Minimum Class 4 licence, with WTR endorsements
Minimum 3 year’s experience as a Truck Driver
Flexibility to perform various daily tasks and grow with the team
Experience in transporting, chip sealing and metal spreading will be an advantage
Civil construction knowledge will be beneficial
Flexibility to perform various daily tasks and grow with the team
Good understanding of site safety and hazard management
Excellent communication with co-workers and management
