\n eShepherd is Gallagher’s virtual fencing technology for cattle - solar-powered, GPS-enabled neckbands connected to web and mobile apps that allow farmers to create virtual boundaries, move cattle remotely and manage grazing more precisely.

\n We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our Hamilton-based hardware team and help shape the next generation of eShepherd products.

\n Electronics, sensors, ICs, PCB design and mechanical assemblies.

\n Lab and field testing with IoT hardware prototypes.

\n Functional testing, reliability testing and production readiness.

\n DFMA, FMEA, design reviews and change management.

\n Learning First Product Development, A3 thinking and continuous improvement.

\n Coaching, mentoring and growing a high-performing engineering team.

\n What you’ll bring\n \n Engineering leadership experience across hardware, electronics, mechanical, mechatronics or IoT products.

\n 5+ years’ product development experience.

\n Strong technical judgement across design, testing, manufacture and reliability.

\n Experience working with multidisciplinary teams.

\n A practical, customer-focused and commercially aware mindset.

\n A passion for developing engineers and building great products.
