About the role and who we are looking for:
We have an exciting Permanent Full-time position as Retail Supervisor for our Cafe at NZDF-Trentham, Wellington.
The role will include :
Coaching, training, development, and monitoring the wellbeing of staff
Combining leadership strengths with expertise in hospitality and customer experience
Operating cash register
Maintaining a clean and tidy front and back of house
Developing and implementing staff roster
Preparing reports for management
Monitoring financial activities against budget
Conducting accurate and timely monthly stock take
You will have some experience in the hospitality industry or a similar environment
You will have some experience in managing staff and running a roster
You will need to have knowledge and experience in managing the cost of goods and/or food within the café
You will need to be able to communicate effectively in the workplace
You will need to be able to ensure that personal hygiene and presentation standards are maintained
