About the role
We're excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for a Shift Manager to join our team. In this role, you'll play a vital part in coordinating our Dunedin Distribution Centre operations, ensuring adherence to standards, and seamless order fulfilment. Reporting directly to the Dunedin RDC Manager, this position offers a chance to make a significant impact in a high performing team.
As the Shift Manager, your ability to inspire and guide team members towards growth, performance, and development will be vital. Your knack for motivating and empowering your team will be crucial. Leading by example, you'll prioritise safety and compliance in all aspects of your leadership.
The role is Monday to Friday 15:15 to 23:45 while supporting the Sunday PM shift with rotational public holidays as per agreement.
This role is based in Dunedin at our Dunedin Distribution Centre, we are offering a relocation allowance of up to $5,000 for eligible candidates.
About you
A minimum of 2 years operational experience at a supervisory level within a medium to large volume Distribution Centre.
Proven ability to lead a high performing team within a fast pace and high volume-environment.
Strong leadership background with ability to maintain effective relationships with various stakeholders.
Track record of achieving KPIs and driving performance improvements.
Proactive problem-solving to maintain efficiency and service levels.
Experience in promoting a positive work environment.
A proactive approach to risk management relating to Health and Safety.
