About the job
Our property consultancy team are a talented group of people and apply their expertise, knowledge, and passion in the work they do for our clients every day. This is an exciting opportunity to join our highly successful Wellington property team and contribute to important projects that impact all New Zealanders. Some of the work you will be involved with on a typical day includes:
Managing client contracts, nurturing and growing client relationships and programme management actions
working as part of a team to manage the disposal of surplus Crown, local government and utility provider property across a broad range of clients
provision of quality advise to our clients and delivering their property strategies and projects
work across multiple workstreams and projects including property acquisition and corporate real estate, due diligence, property and project related investigations and assessments
developing and managing both existing and new client relationships.
About you
We are interested in hearing from people from diverse backgrounds with established property careers, who are excited about an opportunity to grow their capabilities and move into a leadership role. If you have the below experience and drive, or the potential to develop these, we would love to hear from you.
You will stand out to us if you have the following
With 5+ years of extensive property experience under your belt, you will have a comprehensive understanding of the property industry. You have very strong technical understanding of property and relevant legislation.
You will be confident building strong relationships with new and existing clients and have the knack to identify and find opportunities to provide clients our services. You are committed to delivering a superior client experience, acting as a problem-solver and thinking creatively to find solutions. A background in a consultancy environment alongside a property or law degree would be a real advantage but not a deal breaker.
You will be an excellent communicator. Most importantly you will be focused on quality and always take pride in your work. As a senior, you will take initiative in supporting other colleagues by providing assistance and peer review.
With a variety of projects constantly on the go, you’ll be a team player and happy to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in. You are accountable and take responsibility for your contribution within a multi team project delivery. Building strong relationships and working collaboratively will be second nature to you.
