This role is unique in that it offers the best of both worlds – a blend of technical supportsupporting store systems and infrastructure and regular travel around NewZealand supporting our brands in person. You will provide hands-on Level 2support, providing technical assistance to users who are using software,hardware, point of sale or other computer systems and need help completingtasks or troubleshooting problems. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
InfrastructureSupport: Troubleshoot, diagnose andresolve issues in networking, switches, firewalls, WAN/VPN, serverinfrastructure, Azure, Microsoft Office 365, and vendor-based solutions.
Systems Provisioning: Deploy hardware for new stores, cafes and sitesacross the group.
ProactiveSystem Monitoring: Keep systems running optimallyby monitoring performance and addressing potential issues.
Network andTelecommunications: Maintain and troubleshootcompany specific and industry-standard telecom systems and suggestimprovements.
Given the nature of our business you will be part of a supportive ITteam to provide on-call support to our brands network during their tradingtimes.
What you'll bring to the role:
You will have huge energy and determination and will demonstratethe following:
Level 2 infrastructure supportexperience, including network support, repairs and analysis.
3+ years’ experience trouble shootingcomplex IT issues, in a similar retail, hospitality or multi-siteenvironment.
Skills in a variety of technologiesincluding MS Stack, networking, security, hardware (POS/Restaurant andbusiness related)
A positive, customer-focusedservice-ethic, with confidence and dependability under pressure.
Well organised, effective time management– with the ability to handle a complex, shifting, varied workload.
Expert Windows OS, Workstation hardwareand peripheral support skills, Antivirus, Backup, MS Office knowledge.
Great communication skills, with theability to translate complex technical issues into easily understoodeveryday language for users.
Diplomatic, with clear empathy for users- meeting users at their personal proficiency levels without judgement orcriticism.
A sharp focus on and attention to detail,and disciplined execution of delivery. Little things matter.
