The Role
As a Senior Project Manager you will provide project management services from business case and feasibility study, through establishing the right project structure and strategy, to procurement and management of the project team and resources needed to deliver the project.
This will include:
Writing tenders and contracts, and running procurement processes
Initiating and inputting to project strategies
Design management
Stakeholder engagement and management
Business cases and feasibility development
Ensure projects are fiscally sound and risks are mitigated
Construction oversight and Engineer ‘s Representative duties.
About you
Ideally you will be an experienced Project Manager, with experience working for a Project management consultancy. It is essential that you have vertical construction project experience and possess a relevant tertiary qualification.
Ideally you will have;
Sound working knowledge and experience of all stages in the construction project management life cycle
Procurement, tendering, writing and managing construction contracts
Forming and managing project teams
Feasibility or business case development
Experience working with community groups and is advantageous
Sound knowledge of the resource consent and building consent process’s
