Job Description Store supervisor required

\n Location: Auckland

\n $28-32 hourly rate depending on experiences

\n At lease 30 hours per week

\n Requirement: at least three years of relevant work experience

\n Job duties:

\n  Key Duties and Responsibilities

\n \n Oversee the day-to-day operations of the packaged food retail store, ensuring smooth and efficient business operations.

\n Supervise, coordinate and support store employees, including allocating duties, preparing staff rosters and monitoring staff performance.

\n Provide excellent customer service and handle customer enquiries, complaints and feedback professionally.

\n Monitor stock levels, arrange stock replenishment and coordinate receiving, checking, storing and displaying packaged food products.

\n Maintain appropriate stock rotation and ensure products are correctly labelled, displayed and within their use-by or best-before dates.

\n Monitor inventory, conduct regular stocktakes and investigate stock discrepancies, wastage and damaged goods.

\n Place orders with suppliers and liaise with suppliers regarding product availability, deliveries, pricing and quality issues.

\n Monitor daily sales, cash handling, EFTPOS transactions and store financial procedures.

\n Prepare and maintain daily operational records, sales reports, stock records and other store documentation.

\n Ensure the store complies with food safety, hygiene, health and safety, and other applicable regulatory requirements.

\n Maintain a clean, safe and well-organised retail environment, including appropriate storage and display of food products.

\n Coordinate product displays, promotions, pricing and merchandising activities to maximise sales and improve the customer shopping experience.

\n Monitor store sales and operating performance and implement measures to improve efficiency, customer service and profitability.

\n Train new employees in store procedures, customer service, product knowledge, food safety and workplace requirements.

\n Open and close the store and ensure appropriate security, cash-handling and closing procedures are followed.

\n Communicate with the business owner or senior management regarding store performance, staffing, stock requirements, operational issues and business improvement opportunities.

\n Ensure staff follow company policies, procedures and operational standards at all times
