Test Technician

We are lookingfor a skilled Test Technician who is passionate about ensuring electricalsystems are safe, reliable, and compliant with industry standards.
The role:
As a Test Technician you will be a part of our dynamic team and become anintegral part of a leading company in the electrical industry. This role requiresfrequent travel to our branches in NorthIsland. You will also be responsible for:
- Conducting thorough and accuratetesting of electrical installations, appliances, and equipment to ensurecompliance with regulations and safety standards
- Performing inspections, fault finding, and troubleshooting to identifypotential hazards or issues
- Generate reports detailing test results, recommendations, and any necessaryrepairs or improvements
- Collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and colleagues to provideexceptional service and support

About you
To be successful in this role, you will have some or all below:
- Strongknowledge of electrical regulations, codes, and safety practices
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret technicalspecifications and drawings.
- Good problem-solving skill
- The ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to learn new skills
- Effective communication skills and the ability to build positiverelationships with internal clients and colleagues
- Clean full New Zealand driving license class 1
- EWRB Registered Electrician certification with current New Zealandregistration and practicing license would be an advantage
- Have minimum of 2 years of post-registration experience in testing andinspection will be beneficial
