Job Description Our Warehouse Operations Assistant:

\n \n pick, packs and dispatches orders to our online and trades customers

\n supports warehousing activities like inwards, labelling, decanting and stock management

\n \n Picking, Packing and Dispatch

\n Support Warehouse Operations

\n Support Decanting Activities

\n Support Operational Activities

\n Be Health & Safety Aware & Active

\n Support Shop Activities

\n \n The Hours:

\n \n 30 per week made up as \n \n Monday to Thursday 9:30-3.30pm and Friday 9:30-2

\n

\n Some flexibility on start and finish times available

\n Note: contract will include rostered Saturday shifts once per month once competent in the role

\n \n Must Haves:

\n \n 3+ years' general work experience

\n Ability to lift heavy items over 10kg and under 20kg regularly throughout the day

\n Ability to safely handle heavier items (40kg, 50kg and over) using team lifting techniques or mechanical handling equipment.

\n Ability to use standard IT tools for business, computer, laptop, tablet, phone and associated software/ online apps.

\n Ability to complete high volumes of work under pressure with accuracy

\n \n Nice to Haves:

\n \n 2+ years’ work experience in warehousing, dispatching, logistics or similar field

\n Certificate level (or higher) qualifications in warehousing, logistics or similar field

\n Clean Class 1 Full Drivers Licence

\n F endorsement on Drivers Licence

\n MPI Accredited Person status

\n \n Other Red Tape:

\n \n Must have good enough MOJ checks - no dishonesty, drug or crimes against a person convictions

\n Drug testing may be a required (and is part of the contract if successful)
