Mō te tūranga - About the role
The Theatre Suite Assistant's primary role is to assist staff with delegated tasks to ensure patients receive quality care.
In this important role you will help with a range of tasks including the following:
Restocking and setting up of equipment
Cleaning out theatre between cases
Other duties include; relief for receptionist and more
Your contribution to the unit will ensure that operations run to schedule and are well prepared so that our surgeons and clinical staff are able to perform their magic.
This is a physically demanding role. The team is supportive and friendly, and the opportunity to gain great job satisfaction is huge if you enjoy working at a fast pace.
This position would suit someone (but is not restricted to) with existing hospital experience, however we are happy to look wider. Proficient computer skills are preferred and full training of our systems and practices will be given.
