Courier Driver

Job Description Rdhimanz Investments Ltd is looking for 1 energetic and attentive Courier Driver to work in a full-time permanent position in the Hawke’s Bay region in NZ. This is a fast-paced role with unlimited learning each day.

\n Courier Driver Job Duties and Responsibilities:

\n • Collecting items for delivery from our clients’ premises.

\n • Use of handheld scanners to log information.

\n • Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.

\n • Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries.

\n • Assisting with loading and unloading the van.

\n • Monitoring the roads to ensure the most efficient routes are taken to and from the various delivery and pick-up locations.

\n • Delivering mail, parcels, and packages to customers’ businesses and homes.

\n • Collecting signatures from customers and completing paperwork.

\n • Maintaining delivery and collection records (electronic and paper).

\n • Obeying the road rules and meeting health and safety requirements.

\n • Carrying out regular maintenance checks on the van.

\n • Keeping the van clean and tidy.

\n Candidate Requirements:

\n • Be physically fit and able to safely lift and carry parcels of 25 kg or more on a regular basis

\n • Be honest and reliable

\n • Be punctual

\n • Be drug free and be able to pass a drug test on any random day

\n • Have good attention to detail

\n • Clean criminal history

\n • Able to work on a rotational roster with an early start and/or late finish according to the workload

\n • Able to work on Saturdays when required

\n Experience or Qualification:

\n • Qualification or work experience is not required for this role as full training on the job will be provided.

\n • NZ Class 1 Driver Licence or equivalent International Driver Licence with the ability to legally drive in NZ and obtain a Class 1 Licence in New Zealand afterwards is required.

\n Hours and Position:

\n • This is a full-time permanent position with a minimum of 30 hours per week.

\n Pay Rate:

\n • $24 to $26 per hour
