About YOUR new job:
In this newly created role, you will be working on a high-profile Public-Private Partnership (PPP) project in the transmission sector. This is a “hands-on” role and is suited to an individual who can operate in a start-up environment. Reporting to the CFO, this role will see you developing, implementing, and managing the business finance requirements including all systems, processes governance, risk, and compliance requirements.
•Ownership of the full project accounting process.
Manage and deliver internal and external reporting to ensure consistency, accuracy, and timeliness of financial and non-financial reporting to achieve business outcomes.
•Provide technical accounting, tax, and treasury advice and reporting.
•Prepare budgets and forecasts, and provide proactive analysis of actual and budgeted revenue/costs.
•Managing syndicated project finance facilities. Coordinate the drawdown/repayment formalities for debt facilities and closely monitor compliance with financing covenants and obligations.
•Cash flow planning and monitoring of cash flow budget to satisfy timely cash requirements of the business.
•Stakeholder management, including maintaining relationships with external parties including lenders, auditors, legal, ASIC, and tax advisors.
About YOU!
•8 plus years in similar roles within the infrastructure, construction, or PPP sector.
•CA/CPA Qualified with proven capability in financial accounting and reporting. Sound knowledge of Australian Accounting standards and in particular knowledge of key accounting issues as they relate to infrastructure or construction projects.
•Resilient. Adaptable. Able to work in a dynamic and changing environment.
•Experience with cashflow management, budget management, tax, accounting, external auditing, financial modeling, business planning, and insurance is deemed relevant.
•Problem-solving, planning, organising, and analytical skills with the ability to guide and coach others in the resolution of complex problems, manage competing priorities, and deliver quality results on tight deadlines.
•Good communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate decision making, influence and build relationships with key stakeholders.
