A growing Electrical business with our office based in the beautiful Mount Maunganui.
We are looking for a professional and personable Office Administrator. This position requires a resilient, efficient, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented person that has a willingness to learn and support others. Our ideal candidate would have previous administration and/or electrical industry experience but is not required.
Your role will be varied, with new tasks and challenges each day. You will be responsible for ensuring the branch runs smoothly by providing administrative and staff/customer support. You will be the centre of all the office activity.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Being the face of the branch, which includes answering the phone, responding to email inquiries, hosting visitors, and assisting with walk-ins.
Inputting and management of jobs into our job management software “Simpro” and streamlining these from start to finish through to Xero.
Ordering materials and products from required suppliers.
Scheduling jobs for field staff that fits client requirements, product supply timelines, staff capabilities, and strategic and location mapping.
Quotation follows-ups.

To succeed in this role you'll need:
Problem-Solving skills - be fast thinking and supportive
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A bubbly, approachable, and outgoing personality
Experience in using the accounting software Xero (preferred but not required)
Strong MS Office experience, particularly across Email, Word, and Excel
Excellent attention to detail
Exceptional organization and time management skills
Impeccable customer service skills.
This position is permanent part-time. Work times can be arranged to suit you and the business. (Flexible around school hours)
