We are currently seeking an experienced Extrusion Supervisor to join the team in hands on position where you will lead from the front. In this role, you will be responsible for taking lead of the nightshift team and overseeing all aspects of high-volume, high-quality plastics production for key sectors here in NZ.
Key Responsibilities include:
Providing leadership of a small team to ensure business objectives are achieved.
Setting up, fine-tuning, and calibrating extrusion lines to meet quality standards and industry requirements.
Monitoring and adjusting extrusion processes to maintain pipe weight targets and quality specifications throughout production.
Collaborating with the Production Manager to troubleshoot issues and escalate serious technical problems to management and the engineering team.
Conducting general upkeep tasks such as equipment monitoring, maintenance checks, printer servicing, basic repairs, and adjustments.

At least three years of experience in plastic extrusion manufacturing.
Proficiency in setting up, adjusting, and maintaining plastic extrusion machinery.
A collaborative approach to teamwork.
A dedicated commitment to Health & Safety and Quality standards.
High ambition, integrity, and a keen aptitude for learning.
Able to lead from the front in this hands on role.
