Join our finance team at Health New Zealand I Te Whatu Ora, Southern where our prime focus is on supporting the delivery of an excellent health service throughout the Southern region.
As the Accountant Asset Management you will:
Have oversight of the Fixed Asset Register including reporting and annual verification of major assets
Supporting the preparation of the Annual Capital Plan
Have oversight of FPIM Projects and Assets modules
Supporting the annual calculation of the Fair Value of Assets, including impairment
Have oversight of the Contracts Register including Contract register reporting
We're looking for a motivated team player to come and join us; someone who loves to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in.
Full training on our systems will be provided but we'd love it if you bring with you the following:
At least five years Accounting experience
Member Charted Accountants Australia and New Zealand; ACA, CA qualified (or progressing)
Experience of leading and managing projects
Ability to work with tight deadlines
Excellent ability within Microsoft Office, in particular Excel
Great communication and the ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders throughout the organisation
Positive attitude and open to new ideas
Systematic work methods with strong attention to detail
