This is a new role specifically focused on our Flagship Projects where we need a portfolio approach in how they are governed and executed. The projects are varied and are key to ensuring the success of our Strategy 2026. The role will be instrumental in ensuring strong portfolio management disciplines so we deliver to the objectives of these projects.
The role will sit reporting to a member of the Executive Leadership Team and will interface with our PMO and other teams across MetService.
Aligning with our strategy this is a fixed term position for 24 months.
You will have:
demonstrated leadership success working closely with organisational leaders in a complex and dynamic environment.
proven ability to lead complex portfolio management from conception through to completion and transition to business-as-usual.
a formal programme or project management qualification – or a wealth of on-the-job experience.
As an experienced leader you will also be able to:
navigate for the future through leading strategically, with influence and engaging others
make ‘it’ happen through managing work priorities and achieving outcomes through others.
As an individual you will be:

self-aware and agile.
