About the Role /Key Responsibilities
As part of CBNZ's Accounting team, this role supports both the finance and transaction teams. Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, some of your key responsibilities will include:
Raise & receipt purchase orders as required
Conduct regular Purchase orders GRIR Account reconciliation and clearing
Enhance, suggest, and document the proper GRIR process.
Maintain and update master data files for suppliers, potential customers and employees when required.
Improve supplier master data set-up forms and new supplier welcome pack.
Complete GRIR Accounts Reporting on a monthly basis and as required.
Secondary support role for invoice processing, bank reconciliations, cash flow management and staff wine allowance account management.
Support process improvement initiatives, for example, PO and Supplier Master Data procedures.
About you
The ideal candidate holds a tertiary qualification, preferably a bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or Accounting, with a minimum of 3 years of AP experience. They possess strong knowledge of relevant accounting frameworks and advanced MS Office skills, particularly in Excel. Attention to detail, numerical proficiency, and problem-solving abilities are key, along with effective communication skills. Familiarity with SAP Cloud or similar systems and FMCG industry experience are preferred.
