An exciting opportunity has been created for a highly professional Hotel Manager to join our 52-room hotel, operated by Marsden Hotels team. This role would be suitable for a current strong Operations Manager, Hotel Manager with F&B exposure to step into their next role.
The successful applicant will have strong interpersonal skills and must work well in a team environment. Our team requires a flexible and responsive manager, one who is hands on and who has a positive and approachable manner. You will be managing all aspects of the day-to-day operations reporting directly to the Group Director of Operations. You will be accountable for the performance of the property, monitoring the quality and consistency of service and product delivery, to ensure that the property continuously meets and improves service standards whilst driving sales and achieving budget expectations. As Hotel Manager you will foster a winning, solution-oriented work environment, motivating and engaging employees to continuously deliver the best possible service to our guests. To be successful you will require
Outstanding leadership skills, previous experience managing a team, recruitment, training and supervising staff along with some HR understanding.
Past experience in pre-opening hotel is beneficial
Understanding of current Health & Safety obligations
Flexible with regards to work hours to fit around the daily operations and seasonal demands of a hotel’s operations.
Sound Knowledge of Operating Procedures with ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
Experience in planning budgets and cost control for all departments.
Ability to manage complex relationships with owners, stakeholders.
