The Opportunity:
We are seeking a driven and experienced E-Commerce Manager to join our team and drive the growth of our e-commerce platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue and enhancing customer satisfaction across our multiple brands, in Australia and New Zealand. This position will be based in Oamaru preferably, however remote working may be considered for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead day to day operations and the ongoing development and implementation of the e-commerce strategy.
Drive and optimise customer journeys across the retail website using data to identify trends and customer behaviour patterns to increase traffic and sales.
Review real time, weekly and monthly sales reports and use data insights to ensure sales and marketing outcomes are being met or exceeded.
Cultivate strong relationships with key suppliers and negotiate favourable terms and agreements.
Monitor financial performance and implement cost-saving measures to optimize commercial operations.
Ensure a seamless and satisfying customer journey through collaboration with customer service and user experience teams.
Stay updated on industry trends and conduct competitor analysis to inform business strategy.
Qualifications/Skills Required:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience is essential.
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferrable
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Strong understanding of SEO and SEO tools for keyword research, competitive analysis, and website optimization.
Experience using Shopify
Excellent understanding of Google Analytics
Excellent understanding of Email Marketing with experience using Klaviyo and Omnisend
Familiar with both Google and Facebook Ads Manager
Strong Knowledge or experience with social media scheduling programs. E.g Hootsuite
