We are currently looking for a full time Construction Cost Controller SUPERSTAR to join our team! What's a Construction Cost Controller?? Keep reading to find out!
This role is integral to Chillex Group and through our job management software system you will be responsible to reduce unbilled work in progress (WIP) by managing the monthly end to end Customer and Subcontractor claim processes by generating monthly project claims and assisting project managers and commercial team to ensure timely collection of AR invoices, as well as monthly variation reporting and escalations as required. A role within Chillex that is key to achieving our “projects delivered on time and to budget” motto.

What skills do I need?
Diploma in Quantity Surveying or a minimum of 6 years of proven work experience with commercial construction accounts, including a thorough understanding of the RFC, BCTI and Variation processes.
A working knowledge of NZ Construction Contracts Act.
Proficient with MS Office 365 – Word, Excel, Outlook, (including Teams & SharePoint).
High level competency in SimPRO job management software would be ideal, this isn’t a deal breaker, but someone who can pick up and learn systems is a must!
Working knowledge of Aconex and Procore software. Training required!
A basic understanding of the HVAC and Mechanical Contractors industry would be an extra bonus, but not a necessity!
Excellent communication skills both oral and written
Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining clear priorities on task allocation & attention to detail is a MUST!
Demonstrate the ability to work and collaborate effectively in and across teams, while also being self motivated and able to work unsupervised
A team player and logical thinker
