Your Role:
As our Finance Manager, you'll spearhead our financial strategy, guiding our team towards success by setting appropriate budgets, ensuring compliance, and fostering a culture of excellence. Your expertise will navigate complexities from financial reports to invoicing, driving performance through insightful analysis and collaboration with our management team and board members. With enhancing mana as our priority, you'll champion a workplace culture where well-being and teamwork thrives, shaping a prosperous future for Te Tomika Trust.
A bit about you and your experience:
Proven experience in financial management and operation leadership, preferably in the non-profit sector.
Qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
A full clean NZ Driver Licence
Current First Aid Certificate preferred but not essential.
Knowledge and commitment to Te Tiriti O Waitangi and Māori Tikanga.
Understanding of and ability to apply Kaupapa Māori principles in the workplace.
Proficient in financial software, Xero, Payhero and Microsoft Office suite.
Strong analytical, strategic planning and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
