Job Description Reporting to the Head of MBA Experiential Learning, the staff will be involved in the administration and operations relating to MBA experiential learning courses and student life matters, which include, but not limited to, activities such as course planning ranging from class timetable scheduling, resources planning, enrolment-related matters, orientation, commencement, facilitation of business case competition and procurement.
Experiential Learning Course Management
Provide administrative and facilitation for experiential learning core and electives courses that include: Course planning and class time scheduling
Provide resource planning and logistical support
Follow-up on course enrolment matters
Liaise with faculty on course-related matters
Follow-up on the course information sharing with students and enquiries from students
Provide administrative and support for experiential learning courses in particular: Credit-Bearing Internship Partner with the BIZCareers Office on following up on students' enquiries on Credit-Bearing Internship
Follow-up with NUS Faculty and Workplace Supervisor on course-related administrative matters such as awarding course grading
Track and follow up with students on the submission of learning journals and final reports for grading
Course enrolment for students
Cross-Faculty Courses Course enrolment for students
Liaise with cross-faculty on course-related matters
Follow-up on course information sharing with students and enquiries from students
Business Case Competition facilitation and support
Facilitation and support of case competition participation
Administration of case competition logistical and funding matters
Social media outreach to showcase student participation and experience
Programme Inventory Management
Responsible for the inventory management to support Orientation, Commencement and MBA Merchandise
Others
Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Head
Ad-hoc duties / projects as assigned by the Head
Provide team support in other functions as needed
Involvement in process innovation and improvement initiatives
Qualifications At least a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University
3 - 5 years of working experience
Able to work independently, is pro-active, task-oriented, yet service-minded
A fast learner, willingness to learn, meticulous with good problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task
A team player, with a willingness to support inter-team/office activities
Self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable in communicating with senior management/faculty, cross-department colleagues, diverse culture (experienced) students and external stakeholders
Experience in using Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and other educational IT Systems
Experience in working in the education industry will be ideal but not necessary
(Appointment job grade will commensurate with the selected candidate's experience)
